Rules of Good Standing
Under the Association constitution, membership is open to all individuals in the scrap business industry for as long as they choose. Continued good standing guarantees full voting privileges, legal protection, and welfare coverage.
1. Dues Payment by Deadline
Members must pay their regular association membership dues by the stated deadline to maintain active standing and fund welfare operations.
2. Minimum 50% Meeting Attendance
Active attendance and participation in at least 50% of scheduled general meetings, training workshops, and community assemblies each year.
3. Code of Conduct & Bye-Law Compliance
Strictly abiding by the general conduct expected in the industry, including zero open burning of cable wires and respecting municipal health regulations.
