From informal roadside squatters to a unified, legally structured association.

Prior to 2019, scrap dealers in Akwatialine worked in isolated groups, selling to visiting trucks bound for Accra. With no legal standing, members faced severe tenure insecurity and continuous conflict with police. Elders stepped forward to establish the Association, successfully securing land agreements, negotiating collective rights, and providing a medical and family bereavement safety net.

Expertise built across the scrap value chain.

Scrap Sourcing & Collection

Aggregating non-ferrous and ferrous scrap metals, electronic waste, and industrial machinery from commercial hubs across the Ashanti region with fair weight-based pricing.

Mechanical Dismantling

Trained mechanical deconstruction replacing open wire burning. Dealers safely extract copper coils, motors, aluminum blocks, and circuit boards for high-value repair and resale.

Bulk Transport Logistics

Direct transport coordination in heavy trucks from Akwatialine Yard to foundries, smelting plants, and industrial recycling factories in Accra and Tema.
